Everything Between the Door and the Next Visit

Ring up the service, the retail, and the tip at the counter. SalonPortal also runs the website, the requests, the reviews, the texts, and the screen in the waiting room.

Appointment Requests

Clients ask for a service, a stylist, and a time from your website. Requests land on a list and a calendar, and your desk gets notified so nothing sits in a voicemail.

The Desk Sees the Request Before the Client Hangs Up

A request is a name, a service, a preferred time, and who they hope to see. Your team confirms it. You are not ripping out Boulevard, Vagaro, or Square to get started.

  • From the WebsiteThe same page that shows your work asks for the appointment.
  • List and CalendarSee what came in today and what is already on the book.
  • The Desk Gets NotifiedNew requests reach the people who answer the phone.
  • Ring It Up HereThe counter register takes the service, the retail, and the tip. A stylist-by-stylist book can stay in the system you already use.

Ask at the Chair, Not Three Days Later

The Map Pack for “salon near me” listens to fresh Google reviews. The moment they see the cut in the mirror is the moment to ask.

  • Text a Link From the FloorThe stylist or the desk sends it before the client is in traffic.
  • Reviews That Name the StylistClients mention who did the work. That is how a chair gets a following.
  • Reply in One PlaceAnswer Google reviews without hunting through your Business Profile.

  • Today’s TeamWho is in, what they are known for, and a photo that matches the chair.

The Rebook Should Not Depend on Memory

Most clients mean to come back. A short text at six weeks, on a birthday, or on a slow Tuesday is how the chair stays full without buying another ad.

  • Rebook RemindersCuts at six weeks, color at eight, nails at three. You choose the rhythm.
  • Fill a Slow Day“Jordan has two openings tomorrow afternoon” goes to people who already trust him.
  • Birthdays and New GuestsA note that feels like the shop, not a blast from a brand they don’t remember.
  • Opt-In, and an Easy OutClients join from your website. Every text tells them how to stop.

Questions

Before You Switch Another Tool

Does SalonPortal replace Boulevard, Vagaro, GlossGenius, or Square?

They can still hold a stylist-by-stylist book and deposits. SalonPortal includes a counter register for the service, the retail, and the tip, plus the website, appointment requests, service menu, Google reviews, texts, social posts, ads, and waiting-room screens. If you want requests to land here, the desk confirms them from the calendar.

Is this only for hair salons?

It is for any shop that sells time in a chair. Hair salons, barbershops, nail studios, spas, lash and brow bars, and salon suites use the same dashboard. A barbershop and a color studio do not need different software to ask for a review or show this week’s work.

Can each location have its own site and reviews?

Yes. Each location is its own SalonPortal account with its own website, reviews, client list, and screens. A group with several shops can talk to us about multi-location pricing.

Can I keep my current website?

Yes. Use a SalonPortal website, or keep the site you have and still run reviews, client texts, social posts, and signage from the dashboard.

Which reviews do you support?

Google reviews, the ones that show up when someone searches for a salon or barbershop nearby. You can request them, reply, and display them.

Is there a contract?

No. $100 a month per location, cancel anytime, or $1,000 a year and get 2 months free. The 14-day trial does not ask for a card.

Put the Shop in Front of the Next Client
